According to experts in the field, 90 percent of the world’s data has been generated in the past two years. To ensure digital literacy in New York State, two 91¾ÅÉ« librarians, Jesi Buell and Joshua Finnell, seek to expand the skills of regional librarians.

91¾Åɫ’s Counseling and Psychological Services offered three weekly group therapy sessions three years ago.  Today, university counselors manage 10 to 12 group therapy sessions a week. In the 2018–19 school year, the counseling center provided services to 706 students, 7.4-percent increase compared to 2017–18.

This summer, Alique Fisher ’22 is growing her startup company, øats, in Boston, Mass.

In an effort to bring multilingual worlds home to 91¾ÅÉ« students, Professors Matthew Miller and Mahadevi Ramakrishnan from the German and French departments led 16 students on a one-week excursion to the TriRhena region in May. 

Computer science major Caio Rodrigues Faria Brighenti ’20, from São Paulo, Brazil, is conducting research on fake news, or intentionally misleading information.

Writers from across the country and around the world convened for a week of workshops, craft lectures, shop talks, and readings in June.

Two 91¾ÅÉ« students accompanied Mahadevi Ramakrishnan, senior lecturer in French, to Santa Marta last month to present at the 44th Caribbean Studies Conference, hosted by the Caribbean Studies Association.
