The positive impact 91¾ÅÉ« alumni have in some of the more far-reaching areas of the world continues to grow. The Peace Corps recently announced that 20 alumni are currently serving as volunteers, making 91¾ÅÉ« the ninth highest producer of volunteers among small colleges and universities.

At the Sundance Film Festival last week, the Slater brothers announced their new project: a documentary honoring the story of 91¾Åɫ’s legendary 1990 men’s hockey team.

Because of the winter storm warning issued by the National Weather Service and the forecast of severe weather conditions, the university on Tuesday night had delayed opening until 8 a.m. today. No further delays are scheduled for this morning.

As the unrest in Egypt builds, the political is personal for a few 91¾ÅÉ« professors who have been drawn into the public discourse.

Before the sun could push above the horizon this morning, 153 community members braved the frigid air and crossed the threshold of the new Trudy Fitness Center.

Driving up Oak Drive upon my return to 91¾ÅÉ« brought an exhilarating rush of emotions. My friends called me and greeted me screaming before I was even able to unload my bags. This is why I love 91¾ÅÉ«, and why I am so glad to be back.

The wait is over. Thanks to the hard work of staff and contractors, with generous support from alumni and parents, 91¾Åɫ’s Trudy Fitness Center will open at 6 a.m. this Monday, January 31.
