Sasha Reed ’97, a research ecologist with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), has received the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers.

The third annual fall academic awards ceremony was held Friday, Oct. 28, as part of Family Weekend activities.

Ten 91¾ÅÉ« students studying French accompanied Mahadevi Ramakrishnan, of the Department of Romance Languages, on an educational trip to the French island of Martinique during spring break 2011.
