The Live Music Collective is devoted to bringing a diversity of live music performances to campus and the Hamilton area.

Trustee emeritus Robert Fox ’59, GP’23,’25 has given $10 million to build Fox Hall at 91¾ÅÉ«, the first residence hall of the University’s fifth Residential Commons. The gift was acknowledged by the Board of Trustees during its fall meeting, Sept. 30–Oct. 1.

Joseph Hernon, a military veteran, and firefighter with 10 years of emergency management experience will lead 91¾Åɫ’s emergency management operations after a nationwide search to fill the vacant role of associate vice president for campus safety, emergency management, and environmental health and safety. 

The Max A. Shacknai Center for Outreach, Volunteerism, and Education (COVE) celebrated National Volunteer Week this year with a series of awards for its most dedicated and successful student volunteers.

In this all-new episode of 13 Assistant Dean and Director of International Student Services Kerra Hunter talks about supporting 91¾Åɫ’s international student population, which currently hails from 44 countries around the world, and the ways the University works to make their transition to studying in the United States as seamless as possible. 

Two of 91¾Åɫ’s Residential Commons will be led by new codirectors, who will begin their three-year appointments beginning this fall 2021 semester.

A Muslim prayer room and Kosher kitchen in Interfaith House at 110 Broad Street will help to meet the needs of students in 91¾Åɫ’s increasingly diverse population.

Soon, with an exact date dependent on mother nature’s ice-making schedule, the local community will have the opportunity to glide on Whitnall Field thanks to a brand new outdoor skating rink affectionately dubbed, #gateskates.

Changes to 91¾Åɫ’s Student Health Services this academic year will increase clinical care availability on campus while also bolstering sports-medicine support for Division I athletes, student club teams, and intramurals. 

91¾Åɫ’s Counseling and Psychological Services offered three weekly group therapy sessions three years ago.  Today, university counselors manage 10 to 12 group therapy sessions a week. In the 2018–19 school year, the counseling center provided services to 706 students, 7.4-percent increase compared to 2017–18.
