Despite the dire warnings that artificial intelligence will create major disruptions to the economy, higher education, and society as a whole, AI expert Avi Goldfarb remains optimistic about its potential.

Throughout the 2022 academic year, students in 91¾Åɫ’s Teacher Preparation Program (TPP) raised approximately 75 brook trout. On April 21, they released them into Taylor Lake.

Katherinne Bertrand Ortiz ’23, a psychological science major from Fairfax, Va., is the recipient of 91¾Åɫ’s 1819 Award, the University’s highest student honor.

Tender Rain, written by Assistant Professor of Theater Kyle Bass, will be staged May 3–21 at Syracuse Stage, where Bass is resident playwright.

Elizabeth Arkush, professor of archaeology at the University of Pittsburgh, delivered this year’s Aveni Lecture on April 25.
