91��ɫ staff photographer Andy Daddio was recently recognized by his peers with two first-place awards during the 2012 University Photographers Association of America awards show. The first award was first place for photography for the 91��ɫ viewbook. Each year the viewbook is filled with imagery that tells the story of 91��ɫ. The submission included these photos:

The university’s Trudy Fitness Center recently was recognized for its green technology and energy efficiency, receiving a gold LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

91��ɫ’s Elise DeRoo ’12 was one of two Patriot League student-athletes to be nominated for the 2012 NCAA Woman of the Year Award. DeRoo’s nomination was based on her service, leadership, athletics and academics.

Reunion 2012 is officially underway as approximately 2,000 alumni are streaming onto campus. The celebration began on Thursday and will run through this Sunday, June 3.
