Privacy

Software Encryption - At strategically determined points in Mersey Software's software, information may be encrypted before it is stored and likewise decrypted before it is read.  Data may be compressed, encrypted and digitally remodelled prior to being stored in a database structure or SQL/Oracle database.

SSL Encryption - Where information is transported via the internet, such as credit card information, we use a technology called Secure Socket Layer (SSL).  Numbers and text values are encrypted on the computer before it is sent, and then decrypted on the receiving server before it can be read.
