In a statement released today on the , former 91ΎΕΙ«  was announced as the new President and CEO of .

β€œIt is an honor and a privilege to be joining this world-renowned institution at such an important time in American history,” said Herbst in the . β€œThe Newseum is doing critical work to champion our core freedoms, and I look forward to helping write its next chapter.”

According to the Newseum’s website, the organization’s mission is to β€œchampion the five freedoms of the First Amendment through exhibits, public programs and education.” The Newseum is a not-for-profit established and supported by the Freedom Forum.
