We're noting here some of the more popular models we come across; though some of these models may be obsolete, used / second hand, they can provide good service for many years.

EPSON TM-L60ii - Thermal receipt and labels. Ideal for POS and in store marking applications, the TM-L60ii can use either thermal roll paper or labels. The TM-L60ii is perfect for use as a simple bar code printer or for small scale in store marking such as shelf edge labeling. It can be used as a single station printer for POS applications, as an output device for weigh scales, and for ticket issuing.

EPSON TM-T90 - is a fast, easy-to-use, thermal printer offering 2-colour output and high resolution graphics for striking customised receipts, coupons and tickets. The printer enables transactions to be processed quickly, minimising customer queuing and delays. Its compact, easy-clean design is also environmentally hardened for hospitality use.

EPSON TM-T88iii - the latest generation of Epson's highly regarded single station thermal printer. Printing at 47lps it is capable of producing high volumes of eye catching receipts, coupons and tickets at incredible speed, helping you communicate with customers and deliver fast transactions.

EPSON TM-U220 - A robust, high performance impact receipt printer which is exceptionally easy to use. Featuring drop-in paper load, selectable auto-cutter and clamshell covers for easy access and maintenance, the TM-U220 is very reliable and has a footprint of just 160(W) x 248 (D) x 133 (H) mm.  Compact, reliable and optimized for high-speed throughput, they offer easy-to-use features important to the retail, restaurant and hospitality industries and two-colour printing to highlight special offers, kitchen orders and logos. In addition, the TM-U220 printers have been designed to be 100% compatible with existing systems that currently use a TM-U200 printer.

EPSON TM-U230 - durable impact printer, perfect in any kitchen environment. The high performance, two colour printer is unaffected by steam, grease or spillages, thanks to a water resistant case with coated, anti-bacterial surface which allows stains and grime to be effortlessly wiped away.

EPSON - colour inkjet printer for high transaction environments, reliable POS EPOS receipt printing and colour enhanced, often used in marketing. It produces creative, eye-catching receipts while its ergonomic front loading design makes paper roll and ink cartridge replacement quick and easy.

STAR SP298 Series.  Fast, reliable cost effective slip printers ideal for printing "company branded" pre-printed multi-part slips / forms (3.1 lps)

STAR SP300 Series. The Star SP300 series dot matrix receipt printer is designed especially for PC-POS and restaurant systems.  The Star SP300 receipt printer offer very high performance in respect to printing speed and reliability at a very competitive price.  The SP300 stepping motor paper drive system has several advantages including quiet operation and adjustable line feed increment.  This along with the cassette ribbon provides a very simple printer mechanism.  Cash drawer driver will support up to two cash drawers.

STAR SP500 Series.  The Star Micronics SP500 series receipt printer offers two models, each with a choice of two communications interfaces, the Star SP512 tear bar receipt printer model, and the Star SP542 auto cutter receipt printer model. For communications, the Star SP500 series receipt printer is available with either parallel (IEEE1284) or serial (RS232C) interfaces.  Aesthetic integration is fostered by the availability of two popular case colors: charcoal gray and putty.  The SP500 has been designed with an extremely small footprint, a speedy throughput (40 columns at 4 lines per second, 58mm paper at 7.5lps!) and a reliability factor that is reassuring. 58mm and 76mm paper widths are available as standard.

STAR TSP200-24 THERMAL Series.  Entry level thermal receipt printers with selectable paper widths (76 or 80mm) & dual serial and parallel interfaces (50mm/s print speed).

STAR TSP600 THERMAL Series. High quality, low cost receipt printer with easy-load function, 80mm paper width with 58mm option, two colour output and high speed processor for fast throughput. Available with auto cutter or unique tear bar (100mm/s print speed). The new thermal receipt printer at a matrix price. TM-T88 compatible.

STAR TSP700 THERMAL Series.  High performance , easy-load, super-fast receipt printer with high speed processor, two colour output, autocutter as standard and choice of paper widths (80mm standard, 82.5mm or 58mm options). Also capable of printing barcodes / labels and tickets. (180mm/s print speed). TM-T88 compatible.

STAR TSP800 THERMAL Series.  Versatile wide-format (112mm) printer capable of printing high quality receipts, labels, barcodes and tickets. Also includes high speed processor, autocutter as standard and choice of paper widths (82.5mm and 80mm). Also capable of automatically scaling A4 pages on to 112mm paper. Able to print red / black or blue / black with special thermal paper. (150mm/s print speed).

STAR SP2000 Series.  Low Cost 9-pin receipt printers with 76mm paper width and numerous options including paper rewind and autocutter (3.1 lps)

STAR DP8340 Series.  Very Reliable, wide format (115mm / 4.5") receipt printer with red / black output (2 lps)

Thermal Inkjet Colour - This specification defines the printing technology used by the printer.  Format: A4, Indicates the paper format used by the printer.

Paper - Paper (plain, inkjet, photo), envelopes, paper for brochures, transparencies, labels, cards (index, greetings cards). This specification defines the type of paper and other supports used by the printer.

Resolution - Black: up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi, Colour: up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. Indicates the maximum printing resolution of the printer, i.e. precision and clarity of results. It is measured in dpi (dots per inch). The higher this value the more precise and clear is the print. It is sometimes different for a black and white, colour or photo.

Speed - Black: 16 ppm (up to 36 ppm in draft quality), Colour: 15 ppm (up to 35 ppm in draft quality). Indicates the maximum number of pages printed in a minute, in ppm (pages per minute) or minimum time (in seconds) for the printing of a page.

APG Integrator Cash Drawer - Sixteen inches is a narrow width to assemble the many different peripheral products. The POS-Integrator is a solution to this problem, it is narrow enough to fit most cash register wells yet the riser and printer tray expand the width to accommodate various POS printers and up to 15" monitors. It also provides for cable routing.

With the Metrologic state-of-the-art scanning technology embedded inside, the MS5145 Eclipse has a longer working range and a wider scan field than a typical CCD. The width of the scan line grows as the scanner moves further away from bar codes. In addition, the laser beam pulses which make lining up bar codes easy, and when the scanner senses a bar code (CodeSenseTM Mode), the laser beam automatically switches to scan mode and activates Code Gate to ensure high-speed scanning and accuracy. Offering four stand configurations, the ArgusSCAN is adaptable to a variety of applications.
